Onion storage

storing onion harvest for the upcoming year

What's the best way to store a year's worth of harvested onions?

We like to use old citrus bags and sort out the damaged ones to be used first.

Some are long keepers , some are not. Store the long keepers and eat the others now. I like candy onions but they don't keep so I use them first.
