Mechanical deer deterrent action

These pictures were taken early this morning.

It's clear she got spooked by one mechanical deer deterrent and then another in the opposite direction.

Photographic proof that a mechanical contraption can be quite effective at making these deer feel like they crashed the wrong party.

And, best of all, she got scared away before she ate anything. Plus, with the photographic data we're compiling, I'm starting to get a feel for which parts of our perimeter really need to be shored up (and what the best time of night is to stake out the garden if we get another kill permit.)
