10 foot tall robotic rooster?

using ATV to tow the golf cart to a better place

The golf cart is in a better place now.

I finally got around to towing it out of our way to a spot near the barn today.

It might need to be re-built in the future if gas prices become too high or I might cannibalize parts off it to build a 10 foot tall robotic rooster to scare away deer.

It wouldn't surprise me if you could find the plans for something like a "big dog" online in a couple of years.

Of course that'll never be as impressive as this hexapod.

Both are big, slow and noisy, though.

For practical purposes, a small quadcopter equipped with an infrared camera could probably be made into an excellent guard. It should be able to follow a pre-programmed route and e.q. make scary noises whenever its camera spots a deer.
