First we secured down a piece of plywood with screws, and then liquid nailed the concrete board to the plywood.

Twelve tiles took us about a half hour to glue in place.

Now we wait for it to dry.

And the best part is that it cost us under $40, which is about a tenth of what the wood stove store wanted to charge us for their hearth board....
