A Spring storm brought down a dead tree recently.

We were cutting it up for firewood today when Anna found this yummy morel.

The last couple of weeks have been prime time for morel hunting around here.

jim --- Unfortunately, it got stuck in just the wrong place and then a freak flood swamped it. We never were able to bring it back to life after that, although we tried.
